Pascal Bouterin — An Imaginative Artist

Born in Avignon, France, Pascal Bouterin is a passionate artist and a personable host. As I stepped into Pascal’s tent at the Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival the artist was explaining his approach to painting to several interested patrons. He paints from his imagination not from reality. That’s not to say that his work is nonrepresentational. He is painting moods and ambiance and his work conveys quite an emotional impact.

Take a moment to watch Pascal discuss his art.

“The harmony of a painting is the same as the melody in music, the mightier the harmony the more the imagination is left free to create for itself.” — Pascal Bouterin
