Marion Cotillard is a French actress who, in 2007, won an Academy Award for Actress in a Leading Role. La Vie en Rose was the movie for which she won. Her win marked the first time an actress had been received the Best Actress Award for a French language film. She also won a Golden Globe for that role.

Ms. Cotillard currently stars in Public Enemies, a movie about the beginnings of the FBI, America’s biggest crime spree up to that time, and Herbert Hoover’s war on crime.
