Reputable bloggers want a source for legally licensed images. I used to post celebrity photos, all of which I purchased from PR Photos. They have several plans. I paid $5.00 per photo. They also have a subscription plan that allows you to download an unlimited number of images, all properly licensed. Being legal gives peace of mind and a good nights sleep. Here are some of the photos I licensed from PR Photos.

What is fifty feet high, 22 feet wide, one foot thick and made of brushed aluminum, weighing 24,000 pounds? Man With Briefcase. Mr. Borofsky has repeated the briefcase man theme many times, but none are more impressive than his giant sculpture installed at Burnett Park in Fort Worth, Texas.

Fort Worth's Quadriga

These magnificent bronze statues, located at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth, Texas, are identical reproductions of the four horses at the Cathedral of St. Mark’s Square in Venice, Italy.
A quadriga is a chariot drawn by four horses abreast. It was raced in the Olympic Games, as well as, in ancient Roman chariot races. Quadrigas were symbols of victory.
The word quadriga may refer to the chariot, the four horses, or the chariot and horses together…

We, here in Fort Worth, are very fortunate to have great art museums. The Modern is amazing, not just because of the collection, but because of its stunning architecture and setting. However, I’m not going into detail on our beautiful museum today.
I am going to begin with the extraordinary sculpture that greets you as you…

A lively landscape by Li Wang
Gallery

April 30th, 2008

I was drawn into the booth of Li Wang by his colorful chiaroscuro paintings. I felt a powerful emotional impact from his landscapes and still life paintings. Something about the visible brush strokes and the way he laid one color next to another made me feel that he creates his work almost effortlessly. I felt like I was in the presence of a master painter and a humble one at that.

As I wandered through the artist’s booths of the Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival I was captivated by the work of kinetic sculptor Jeffrey Zachmann. He creates beautiful machines that are, in fact, works of art.

Born in Avignon, France, Pascal Bouterin is a passionate artist and a personable host. As I stepped into Pascal’s tent at the Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival the artist was explaining his approach to painting to several interested patrons. He paints from his imagination not from reality. That’s not to say that his work is nonrepresentational. He is painting moods and ambiance and his work conveys quite an emotional impact.

Take a moment to watch Pascal discuss his art.

This year’s Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival was an immense success. Eight or ten blocks of Main St, are lined with music and visual art and performers and artists. The crowds are massive, too. I was elbow to elbow with my fellow festive neighbors.
